Catawba County North Carolina Real Estate Sales Trends Update
Has Catawba County's residential real estate reached the bottom? Since its peak in 2006 the sales volume of single family stick-built homes has experienced a steady decline. 2009's total sales volume was $111,000,000 less than 2006....that's a decease of 44% over a 3 year period.
The good news is the decline is slowing. It's still a little too early to have complete monthly sales figures for January of 2010, but preliminary data suggests 2010 is off to a slightly stronger start than 2009. Could this market post its first gain since 2006? Let's hope so!
